What we share: Hand-built metal lamps treated as sculpture, dark and dramatic presentation.
Where we differ: Those pieces are collector-scale and priced as art objects. Our lamps are made to sit on a desk, shelf or bedside table and be used daily.
Raw-steel studio makers
For example: John Beck Steel (johnbecksteel.com)
What we share: Steel as the visible material, welded and finished by hand in a small workshop.
Where we differ: Their surfaces lean raw, blackened or patinated. We work in brushed stainless steel, so the finish stays bright, even and easy to wipe clean.
Minimalist designer-lamp studios
For example: Anglepoise, Gubi and similar design brands
What we share: Clean geometry, considered proportions, lamps chosen as much for form as for light.
Where we differ: Those are production lines with a wide catalogue. We make a short range in small batches, so each lamp is finished by the same hands.
Warm-light lifestyle lamps
For example: Portable and rechargeable table lamp brands
What we share: Table-top scale, mood lighting, colour and warmth as part of the product.
Where we differ: Those are usually moulded plastic or ceramic. Ours is a steel body with an angle-cut opening that shields the source, plus USB charging on the models that offer it.
Our positioning in one paragraph
Korol TheZine makes designer table lamps in brushed stainless steel, built in a small founder-led workshop. The body is cut at an angle so the light source is shielded from your eyes while the glow spreads across the surface it sits on. The range is short by design: a handful of models in warm, daylight and coloured light, some with USB charging. It is closer to a workshop-made object than a catalogue product, but it is meant to be switched on every evening rather than kept behind glass.
